Daretech were delighted to participate in the Core Quadruple Helix (QH) meeting as part of the GRRIP project, focussing on responsible research and innovation (RRI) in the marine and maritime sector. The project aims to embed responsible research and innovation practices in UCC’s MaREI centre through its five key pillars – Gender Equality and Diversity, Scientific Education, Open Access, Ethics and Public Engagement.

It was a great opportunity to contribute as a representative of the Industry sector while listening to valuable input from stakeholders in the other key groups of academia, government, and citizen / communities. This gives an opportunity to help shape the future research of the MaREI centre with a key focus in this area, and we look forward to participating in the upcoming research agenda setting QH workshop to build on this work.
